Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) & Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (BOCT) Session – 2021-25

These guidelines outline the requirements for the mandatory Major Project/Thesis that all students of the BPT & BOCT programs (2021–25 batch) are required to complete. Students must adhere strictly to the instructions below to ensure proper academic submission.

General Guidelines
- Mandatory Submission:
Completing and submitting the “Thesis” is compulsory for all students enrolled in the BPT and BOCT programs for the 2021–25 session. - Final Topic:
The assigned or approved Thesis Topic is final and cannot be changed under any circumstances. Students must begin working immediately on the approved topic. - Number of Copies:
Each student must submit two (2) hardbound copies of their finalized Thesis. Both copies must be identical in content and formatting. - Minimum Length:
The main body of the Thesis (starting from Introduction) must consist of a minimum of 60 pages.
Note: Preliminary pages such as the cover page, certificate, declaration, and appendices are not included in the page count. - Formatting and Binding Requirements:
- The document must be printed on A4 size bond paper.
- All copies must be professionally hardbound for durability and a clean academic look.
- Cover Specifications:
- The cover must be purple or blue in colour.
- Each bound Thesis must be covered with a plastic coating for protection.
- Soft Copy Submission:
In addition to hard copies, students must submit a PDF version of their complete Thesis.- The soft copy submission deadline is 10th December 2025.
